I’ve finally gotten around to releasing my first, somewhat independently written PHP project. Yes, it’s a basic one, but I’ve yet to see such a service for Mac users that are If you have an invite, by all means e-mail me ;) available to mere mortals.
This venture was a slow one; balancing amateur code writing and a full AP course load along with dealing with the production of the yearbook and now organizing and leading a huge school club is not the easiest thing in the world. How’s that for litotes?
It all started as a mod of Tom Stoelwinder’s Image Upload widget to remove the unsightly trails and correct the corner radius, but soon ended up as my most useful creation to date (IMO that is). I started using it myself and gave access to some others, but soon they were lured in to the grasp of dznr (which is an AMAZING service for those who actually get invited).
H4xr doesn’t do any fancy Photoshop exporting or grouping of images; it simply takes whatever you drag onto it and spits out a URL into your clipboard for your to send to anyone. Still, I hope some people find use for it as I have.
